The old proverb "Health is Wealth" applies to senior citizens, and the best way to prevent illness is to have regular health screenings for senior citizens. We organise regular health checkups with general physicians and specialised medical practitioners for senior citizens in order to maintain their health and improve their immunity.



Birthday Celebration

At Vaishnavi, Celebrating birthdays at orphanages and old age homes celebrate life. Celebrating a birthday anywhere tells the world this person has value. This person is unique and his/her life has or can bring joy to others. We celebrate all elderly peoples' birthdays with love and care."We are a family," after all. People come to us to celebrate their birthdays because they consider us to be family.



Raksha Bandhan

The festival, which represents the promise of lifelong protection, was celebrated in a one-of-a-kind way in an old age home. Rakhi means 'Knot of Protection' and it was tied on the wrists of the old men at Vaishnavi's old age home. Raksha Bandhan was observed in a traditional manner at the old age home. The inmates were then tied to rakhis by women. Even though we have our own sisters, these women treat us as brothers and look after us.



Antim Sanskar

Death is a painful event, but according to lifebooks, everyone who is born will die one day. Our ashram performs antimsanskar on the deceased. In Hindu dharma, antyesti, or the "last sacrifice," refers to a person's funeral rites. Antim Sanskar is also known as Anvarohanyya, Antya-kriya or Vahni Sanskara.



Safai Abhiyan

SWACCH BHARAT ABHIYAN was a challenge in which people actively participated. Vaishnavi initiated an early morning drive to inspect and clean the surroundings. To ensure that rainwater reaches the ground, plastic bags and waste are collected prior to the rainy season. A one-of-a-kind and ongoing initiative to ensure that shopkeepers and residents dispose of waste properly.



Vriksharopan

Conducted once a week to keep an eye on all the plants that have been planted and to monitor the plantenance process to ensure the quality and survival ratio. On the streets, various activities such as Nukkad Natak, Drawing & Painting competition, Garba, and so on are held to raise awareness for all of the Focus Areas such as Plantenance, SMART Family and Say No To Single-Use Plastic.
